Okay, BTS lovers, time to assemble! That’s because Jin has officially been discharged from the military. After 18 long months, the BTS member is now out and ready to give fans and the public a little sprinkle of his charm. The “Astronaut” singer was finally discharged on June 11th (for us folks in the West) and June 12th in the morning in South Korea.
This good news didn’t come unannounced, though! BTS’ label, Big Hit Entertainment, released an official statement confirming Jin’s discharge on the Weverse platform. And now, official pictures of the idol’s return to normal life are now moving across social media. The photos show Jin being all smiles and hugs, holding a bouquet as he waves his hand.
But that’s not everything, oh no! Fellow BTS members were spotted at the discharge event, giving hugs left and right in a sweet exchange. The best part? RM playing a trumpet to celebrate the occasion, making the discharge (and the brief BTS meet-up) all the more special.

While BTS fans were advised to refrain from going to the event, as it could result in overcrowding accidents, Jin is still ready to meet them as soon as possible. On June 13th he’s set to host a special event for ARMY, where he will be meeting one thousand fans for the BTS “Festa.”
