We’re talking about the Kpop icon’s latest bop titled, “Closer Than This.” The track landed with a bang this December 22, wrapping up the iconic 2023 the BTS member has had in his solo career.
The news of this Jimin special song came when BigHit Entertainment (that’s BTS’ agency) spilled the beans earlier this week in an official statement. The company revealed that this track is a love letter from Jimin to his fans, better known as ARMY, and we totally agree. “Closer Than This” has that sentimental yet hopeful vibe that perfectly fits the holiday spirit and the feelings of ARMY.
Meanwhile, Jimin has hopped in along Jungkook to complete their mandatory military service since December 12. Similarly, other BTS members like RM, Suga, V, Jin and J-Hope are also enlisted. But who would’ve thought he could still serve us the best music while completing his duties?
