According to recent media reports, Jim Carrey is in talks to reprise his role in a ‘GRINCH‘ sequel movie, which is currently in development and generating positive reactions among fans on social networks.
On June 18th, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Universal and Imagine Entertainment are working together to develop a sequel to 2000’s ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas,’ taking three important pieces back to this production.

The media reported that Jim Carrey is in talks to return to his iconic role as the Grinch, while Ron Howard will resume his position as director and will also produce it alongside Brian Grazer. Finally, the movie will have a script by Alec Berg, who participated in retouching the first film script.
With these additions from the first film, this sequel is expected to be a success that will once again move and gladden the hearts of fans of the iconic 2000s Christmas movie based on the 1957 Dr. Seuss book of the same name.
