During a recent interview, Jihyo reveals TWICE is going on hiatus for the rest of the year, taking a deserved rest after their successful ‘THIS IS FOR’ world tour.
On July 10th, Forbes magazine released a new interview with the girl group leader to talk about her recent collaboration ‘Distant Love‘ with Shenseea, her recent concerts, and her gratitude for BTS‘ hard work to take K-Pop internationally.
During that talk, Jihyo revealed what the next plans of the girls are after their tour: “For the past 11 years, as TWICE and as a solo artist, we barely had any breaks, so I want to spend the rest of this year relaxing and taking a bit of a break.”
“This break is really something we need in order to work better in the future, so I hope our fans understand.”
TWICE concluded their sixth world tour, ‘THIS IS FOR,’ this weekend with a final concert in Seoul after completing a total of 81 shows in less than a year.
