Jesy Nelson seems to have no fond memories of the nearly 10 years she spent being a part of Little Mix. She left the group in December 2020, leaving fellow members Perrie Edwards , Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall as a trio. In a recent interview with the Reign With Josh Smith podcast, she was very candid about her time in the group, admitting she wasn’t happy.

” I had moments and moments where I really loved it, but it seemed like there were many more times when I was sad than happy, ” he said.
“ I don’t think people realize how difficult it is to be in a girl band. There are many things that people do not know.
And obviously I can’t make my own decisions. Three people also have to agree, so there will always be disagreements about certain things . “
“ I feel like a lot of people think it’s selfish for me to leave the group. They were ten years of my life in which I was very unhappy and I needed to get out of that and really do what would make me happy, “he explained.

Another complaint from Jesy was that Little Mix was like a machine. So things were always programmed for her, including her personal life.
So she couldn’t make her own decisions . Jesy Nelson risks a lot of people getting mad at her and not understanding her, but she was doing her best for her own life.
“Some people may not understand this, but you live once and you have to do what makes you happy.
Being in Little Mix is literally like a machine.
You have no free time. You cannot hang up. Even when you go home, your phone rings constantly to go to work and your life is planned, ”he snapped.
There are even reports that Jesy Nelson had anxiety attacks while working with Little Mix, which was one of the main reasons for her departure. He is currently working on his first solo release.
