Jeremy Renner is in the eye of the hurricane after a Chinese filmmaker, Yi Zhou, has accused the actor of threatening to call ICE on her after she confronted him. Yi Zhou has shared with the Netizens the misconduct, including sending “unsolicited NSFW images.”
Zhou told The Daily Mail she had dated the 54-year-old star and collaborated with him on a documentary and an animated film earlier this year. The filmmaker claimed Renner first contacted her via Instagram and WhatsApp in June 2025, sending her explicit images and a short pornographic clip before their professional relationship began.

Zhou stated Jeremy Renner became angry and intoxicated, forcing her to lock herself in a room out of fear: “I had to lock myself in a room to be safe, praying he would not come in.” She also shared alleged WhatsApp messages and texts with Disney colleagues describing Renner as “violent.” Representatives for Renner did not respond to requests for comment from any media outlets.
