SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan officially completed his mandatory military service on June 26, 2026, becoming the first of 13 members in his group to complete this duty with his country. The 30-year-old artist had been serving as a social service agent since September 26, 2024. His discharge marks an important moment for both the singer and the rest of his group, which is entering a period where several members will also be away, completing their military duties.
While Jeonghan has completed his service, other members are still serving or preparing to begin. For example, Wonwoo is currently serving as a social service agent, while Hoshi and Woozi are carrying out active duty military service. Additional members, including Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino, are expected to enlist in the near future. As a result, SEVENTEN will be facing a long period of military absences that will reshape the group’s activities and promotions over the next few years.

Even with these challenges, SEVENTEEN gave fans a temporary farewell. On June 20, 2026, and June 21, 2026, the group held their annual fan meeting, “Carat Land,” at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. The event became one of the last opportunities for fans to see most of the group members together before additional enlistments begin. As military service continues for several SEVENTEEN artists, fans can expect them to gradually return to activities one by one, with Jeonghan now leading the way as the first member to complete his service.
