Once again, the relationship between the successful world-class actors, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, comes to an end. According to United States media, the couple officially divorced, something that, according to the followers of the relationship, was coming soon.
After two years of marriage and some more of a relationship, the marriage that was nicknamed by their fans as ‘Bennifer’ has come to an end, as Variety said that the actress and singer filed for divorce on Tuesday, August 20th, at the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are divorcing after nearly two years of marriage. Lopez filed on Tuesday, Aug. 20, in an L.A. County Superior Court.
Lopez and Affleck married in Las Vegas in July 2022 after re-sparking their relationship from two decades prior.

August 20th of 2022 is the date on which Affleck and Lopez got married; now two years later, just on the same date, they filed for legal separation. It is certainly not a coincidence; it is a well-thought-out strategy by the singer, who possibly wanted to give a last wedding anniversary gift to the actor.
It should be noted that Jennifer Lopez’s relationship with Ben Affleck began two decades ago, and they were even about to get married; however, after making the comedy film by Kevin Smith, ‘Jersey Girl‘ in 2004, the couple announced the cancellation of their engagement. After many years, they met again and decided to revive their love, this time coming to the altar, to divorce 2 years later.
