Jennie of BLACKPINK is not a stranger to the world of high fashion, and once again she’s stepped into the limelight as the face of Jacquemus‘ “GUIRLANDE” holiday collection campaign. This French fashion brand, led by Simon Porte Jacquemus, has BLACKPINK fans going crazy after enlisting this Kpop queen for the brand’s latest collection.
But make no mistake, this wasn’t something random, oh no! Actually, Jennie and Simon Porte Jacquemus have been rumored to be friends for a couple of months now. Why, you might ask? Well, the “You & Me” singer graced the pages of Harper’s Bazaar magazine wearing some Jacquemus garments back in September.
Now, there is no time for rumors no more, because their official partnership was revealed through a holiday collection campaign teaser. The short clip was posted across social media platforms, sending Blinks (that’s the name of BLACKPINK fans) into Cloud 9. Even though the teaser offers just a little glimpse of this iconic collab, devoted fans sent mad love and praise to Jennie.
The campaign teaser confirmed both Jennie’s participation and the collection’s name, titled “GUIRLANDE.” This collection includes an array of apparel, footwear, and accessories. Unfortunately, there aren’t any additional details on the campaign, but they should be unveiled pretty soon.
One thing’s for sure: Jennie has proved to be a seasoned idol for the high fashion world. The BLACKPINK member has previously worked with global brands such as Calvin Klein, Chanel, Adidas, and Gentle Monster. This new venture with Jacquemus? It only adds another jewel to her gorgeous fashion crown!
