Jamie Lee Curtis shocked everyone when she won her first Academy Award for her supporting role in ’’Everything, Everywhere At All Once’’ after 46 years of being snubbed. However, she suffered an accident and got injured while celebrating her accomplishment in a very euphoric way.
The actress received a big standing ovation and her win became one of the most unforgettable moments of the ceremony’s history. However, not many people noticed that Curtis had a small mishap when she went on stage to receive her award.
She herself posted a picture where she showed the consequences of her euphoric celebration. She is currently using a special orthopedic boot and taking medications to ease the pain. The actress wrote the following caption:
