It recently came to light that famous actor Jamie Foxx was being accused of sexual assault and the entire internet couldn’t help but show their support for the victim, but there was no word from the actor involved.
After a few hours of waiting and mere curiosity as to what would be going through the actor’s mind, apparently, there is already information from that side.
Jamie Foxx responds to his sexual assault allegations
According to reports published by TMZ, the accusing party and a female friend arrived at the establishment around 11 p.m. and noticed that the actor was at another table.
A couple of hours later, the two approached Foxx and asked if they could take a picture with him. But soon after, the encounter would turn awkward, according to the indictment filed in New York courts. According to the indictment, he allegedly told the plaintiff that she had “a supermodel body…you smell so good” and compared her to actress Gabrielle Union.
The lawsuit involving Jamie Foxx also mentions that the actor appeared to be drunk, grabbed the woman’s arm and took her to the back of the rooftop of the venue, where he placed his hands on her waist and placed them under her blouse. In the lawsuit against Jamie Foxx, it states that the woman has had to undergo “medical treatment in addition to suffering pain, suffering and emotional distress.”
In view of what happened, a position from the actor’s side has already been made known.
“The alleged incident never happened. In 2020, this person filed a nearly identical lawsuit in Brooklyn. That case was dismissed shortly thereafter,” said a spokesperson for Jamie Foxx (via Deadline).
“Mr. Foxx intends to file a malicious prosecution claim against this individual and his attorneys for refiling this frivolous action,” says the actor’s spokesperson.
