When we think of horror movies, we often think of movies like Saw or The Conjuring, and the funniest thing about that is that the mind behind those movies is one person, a person willing to show great difference of movies that give his unique touch and that is James Wan.

James Wan has directed a great list of movies outside of the horror genre, including a very well known one called Aquaman, but apparently, he will be returning to his origin and that excites us all, because of course we want to see more horror from James Wan.

Aquaman has been a much talked about film and not in a positive way, and it seems that this film is cursed and its only destiny is failure, but apparently, once it finally sees the light and passes as another DC failure, James Wan will return to where everyone wants him and that is horror films.

“I have a tendency to want to go back and forth. Whenever I make a small movie, I want to make a big one,” James Wan assured. “When I do a big one, I’m like, ‘I want to do a smaller one,’ and when I do the smaller ones, they’re usually horror. So I feel like I’m itching for the horror bug, but we’ll see.”

At this time, there are no confirmed dates for James Wan’s next horror project, but the closest thing we have in mind is the cinematic release of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom next Wednesday, December 20.

What do you think about it? Did you like the idea of seeing James Wan directing horror movies again? Which one is your favorite?
