Jada Pinkett has recently been very viral since she has decided to reveal many things about her past, during a conversation with the famous People magazine, where she confessed to having had a turbulent past and claims to have been a drug dealer during the 80s while she was at school.
She also explains that those years were behind her and that she will talk more about it in her book, explaining that this is no longer her; “That’s another Jada, another Jada who would be chase someone down the alley with a switchblade because she stole 700 dollars“, were the actress’s words, letting it be known that her youth was not easy.
She explains that she was a seller of illicit substances at the time she was meeting the renowned rapper Tupac; “I was leaving that life, while he was getting deeper into it. And that’s why I’ve been having a kind of existential crisis around Pac because while I was leaving that behind, he was entering“, Jada mentioned.
Although she had been romantically linked to the late rapper at all times, she affirms that their relationship was not romantic, they were friends, “Ours was based on survival, someone who gives you a hug and supports you when you feel that you’re nothing, that was all,” commented Will Smith’s wife.
Remember that 2pac was brutally murdered in the city of Las Vegas in 1996, Pinkett says that only a miracle was capable of removing the rapper from that world, she said that she said to herself: “‘Ok, God, one day you will do for Pac what you did for me, you saved me’“, showing that she really cared about her late friend.
