During his ELLE interview, the BTS rapper opened up about his first solo world tour of the year titled HOPE ON THE STAGE. He performed 33 shows across 16 cities and met more than 520000 fans, proving his global traction is as strong as ever. He admitted he first felt scared to lead such a massive tour alone, but finishing each show gave him confidence and helped him understand that he is most himself when performing. He also reflected on his evolution since releasing Hope World in 2018 and how making songs like Sweet Dreams, MONA LISA and Killin It Girl helped him evolve his artistic style.

The most exciting part was when he revealed that BTS had gathered in Los Angeles over the last summer to prepare their next album. He said spending time together again felt meaningful and refreshing. The rapper then added that he is looking forward to next spring, confirming ARMY’s suspicions that something big (possibly a full group comeback) is coming. The full photoshoot and interview are available in ELLE’s December special edition and on the magazine’s official website.
