During a recent interview, IU and Byeon Woo Seok reveal they kissed ‘countless times’ while filming ‘Perfect Crown’, shocking fans with their sincerity about this intimate moment.
On April 7th, the YouTube channel TEO released a ‘SalonDrip‘ teaser video with the main cast of the new drama ‘Perfect Crown,’ including IU, Byeon Woo Seok, Gong Seung Yeon, and Noh Sang Hyun, who attended the show to share their experience in this project.
In this video the main actor was asked about their commented kiss scene, and he said, “When you kiss, your noses touch, right? Our cheeks touched, and because it was hot, it felt moist,” and IU added, “There was a nose mark left on my cheek.”
When the host asked them how many times they kissed, the idol said, “Countless times,” and his actor colleague revealed an interesting detail of the behind the scenes: “We really did that scene many times,” which would surely heat up the atmosphere on set.
What is ‘Perfect Crown’ about?
This new MBC K-drama is a romantic comedy set in an alternate Korea ruled by a constitutional monarchy, which follows the contract marriage between Seong Hee-ju, a powerful but commoner chaebol heiress, and the melancholic Prince Lee Ahn, who lacks freedom while they face social hierarchies and personal traumas.
‘Perfect Crown’ will premiere on Disney+ on April 10, 2026.
