JYP Entertainment soon confirmed the news, stating that Yuna is indeed working on her solo debut album. While the exact release date has not been announced yet, the agency promised that more details will be announced later. This makes Yuna the second ITZY member to release a solo project, following Yeji, who released her EP “Air” in March last year. While this would mark her first album, Yuna has released songs as a part of ITZY’s discography, such as “Yet, but.”
Music is not the only area where Yuna is leveling up. She is also expanding into acting and is set to appear in the upcoming tvN drama Undercover Miss Hong. The show is scheduled to premiere on January 17 at 9:10 p.m. KST, giving fans plenty to look forward to even before her solo project is released. With music and a drama debut on the way, Yuna’s 2026 is already shaping up to be iconic and successful.
