However, the controversial couple is allegedly going through a marital crisis and people were quick to point out that Harry divorcing Meghan could be the first step to reconcile with his family.
In 2022, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex released their anticipated Netflix docuseries, ‘Harry & Meghan’, and openly criticized the British monarchy. Since then, Harry’s relationship with his family, more specifically with King Charles III and Prince William, hit rock bottom and now royal experts believe that they might have given him an ultimatum and told him that the only way he can come back to the Royal Family is by divorcing Meghan.
Over the past few months, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been involved in endless controversies such as Meghan rejecting Harry’s kiss on national television and the news of their failed deal with Spotify which, according to experts, signals the decaying state of their marriage.
Jennifer Bond, a British journalist, weighed in on the matter in an interview with OK! Magazine and revealed that it would not be surprising if Buckingham Palace had already taken advantage of the unfortunate situation and told Harry that he would be accepted into the Royal Family again if he splits from Meghan:
“I think that Harry, without Meghan, would be forgiven and welcomed back into the royal fold in the fullness of time. It’s still unlikely at the moment.”
