Several Netizens have harassed SEVENTEEN on different online communities with malicious posts about their journey as idols and as human beings. SEVENTEEN’s music agency, HYBE, has released a new statement regarding their legal action against these individuals.

On November 27, HYBE announced that the United States District Court for the Northern District of California had approved a request filed by them, asking for the cooperation of Google and “X” (formerly known as Twitter) to obtain identifying information about the individuals who intended to harm SEVENTEEN.

HYBE is making legal statements in the United States

The order issued states that X and Google must hand over the identifying information requested by HYBE Labels for use in the ongoing lawsuit against the malicious content spreader, ‘A’. HYBE has been suing A for spreading malicious speech and content since last year, looking to punish his bad behavior.

Then, HYBE labels will be able to obtain information such as the SNS user’s name, registration date, name, birth date, emails, and SNS usage history, including address and more. Google and X must hand over the information in approximately 45 days.
