It’s the ultimate KPop Demon Hunters battle! On July 22, the 2025 K World Dream Awards committee announced that two songs from the hit animated Netflix film are up for Best OST. HUNTR/X’s “Golden” and Saja Boys’ “Soda Pop” are officially nominated and climbing the charts. “Golden” even peaked to No. 4 on Billboard’s Hot 100, beating out Frozen’s “Let It Go.” Talk about an icy record! Meanwhile, Saja Boys are peaking at No. 25 with “Your Idol” on the same chart, making their rivalry leave the screen and enter a chart race.

These fictional groups have gone full superstar in the real world. Their soundtrack album hit No. 5 on the Billboard 200, showing off its popularity in the United States. Not to mention, the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack is about to be the most successful animated-film soundtrack since 2021’s “Encanto,” with multiple songs charting on streaming platforms. In addition, the film is now on pace not only to become Netflix’s most-watched animated movie but one of Netflix’s all-time most-watched!

The awards will be held on August 21 at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul. Other soundtrack nominees include TXT’s “The Day Will Come” from Someday Wise Resident Life, and EXO’s D.O. with “Forever.” The event will have performances from K-pop giants like Stray Kids, IVE, NCT WISH, and more.
