Just one year after their debut, the girl group HOT ISSUE disbanded. On April 22nd, S2 Entertainment released a statement with the surprise news through the official HOT ISSUE fancafe. They said:
“After a long discussion between the company and our artist, HOT ISSUE, we made the decision to disband the team.”
HOT ISSUE debuted with their first mini album “ISSUE MAKER” in April 2021. In September of the same year, they made a comeback with their first single “ICONS”. The full announcement from S2 Entertainment reads as follows:
