ENHYPEN became the talk of the town for all the right and wrong reasons following the release of their seventh mini-album, “THE SIN: VANISH.” The idols’ bold energy, iconic choreographies, and body of art make them worthy of being at the top of several lists.
The idols already earned the “1 million first-day sales” within a day of release. ENHYPEN’s rising fame also brought a controversy among the fans of the Rookie boy group, CORTIS, which accused them of stealing the idols’ sound.
Different social media communities have highlighted that “THE SIN: VANISH” is reminiscent of CORTIS’s “GO!” or “FaSHioN.” Many fans commented on the release by stating it sounds like CORTIS without being CORTIS, or being a fusion between Stray Kids and CORTIS.
ENHYPEN’s title track, “Knife,” was compared to “GO!” for repeating the word several times. Ultimately, neither ENHYPEN nor their musical agency has released a statement regarding the uncomfortable situation. Stay tuned for more news!
