Netflix is fulfilling a dream of the anime fans, so get in line! On August 30, 2025, Han So Hee’s agency 9ato Entertainment confirmed that the star is officially in talks to take on the female lead role in the Netflix’s live-action adaptation of the Solo Leveling anime series. Han So Hee is expected to play Cha Hae In, the brave S-rank Hunter with a sword, who has garnered a fandom of her own.

Meanwhile, Byeon Woo Seok has already secured the spotlight as the protagonist, Sung Jin Woo, the weak E-rank Hunter who suffers a massive power-up after an almost deadly experience. His character goes from a bottom-tier hunter to an ultimate monster slayer, leveling up into the hero of the story. If Han So Hee joins, fans will finally see the chemistry between these two powerhouses on screen.

Solo Leveling began as a web novel, then became a hit webtoon, and later turned into an anime series. Now, Netflix is going up a notch with a live-action drama, which was announced in January 2025. With Byeon Woo Seok confirmed as the lead and Han So Hee expected to join, this could be one of the most hyped K-drama crossovers of 2025.
