The spooky season is here, and everyone is enjoying this month while they prepare for Halloween with various activities, including watching horror movies, and thanks to the extensive catalog of the streaming platforms it is difficult to know what to watch.

1. ‘Midsommar‘ (2019): This horror and suspense production follows the life of a young woman haunted by the suicide of her sister, who in the company of friends decides to go to the Midsommar festival, which is celebrated every 90 years in a village in Sweden, however everything ends in horror when the villagers invite them to be part of their terrifying festive activities.
2. ‘A Quiet Place‘ (2018): This horror and science fiction film follows a world dominated by creatures with an incredible sense of hearing with which they have managed to reduce the population. Meanwhile, a family fights to survive by hiding in a house and speaking in sign language to avoid being attacked.
3. ‘The Witch‘ (2015): Set in 1630, it tells the story of horror and drama of a Christian settler family that is torn apart by the suspicion that their eldest daughter practices witchcraft after strange events happen around them.
4. ‘The Shining‘ (1980): This psychological horror and mystery production follows the life of Jack Torrance, who, accompanied by his family, becomes a caretaker of the Overlook Hotel in order to get out of his writing block. As personal concerns grow, Jack discovers secrets at the hotel that lead him to become a maniac and terrorize his family.
