Gwyneth Paltrow has had an incredible acting career after participating in numerous successful films, particularly in Marvel movies such as Iron Man’s trilogy. However, her role as Pepper Potts who always had a mutual attraction with Iron Man was completely abandoned after his death in ‘Avengers: Eng Game.’ and the fans pressured Paltrow to come back to the subsequent movies.
Gwyneth earned the hearts of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s (MCU) fans because of her outstanding job as Pepper Potts. However, Paltrow’s absence from the movies made her fans ask her why she didn’t come back anymore to Marvel Studios.
During a Q&A with fans on Instagram, one of her fans wrote: “I’m asking this every time answer the question why did you stop with Marvel and do you miss Robert Downey Jr?” which she humorously answered:
“We just stopped doing it because Iron Man died. And, why do you need Pepper Potts without Iron Man? I don’t know. Call up Marvel and yell at them, not me. I’m just sitting here.”
Gwyneth Paltrow made clear that she didn’t stop her appearances as Pepper Potts but Marvel Studios did. In addition, she feels like there is no need for her character to reappear in a Marvel movie, so it is highly unlikely that she will come back to a Marvel movie even if she feels pressured to do it by her fans.
