Giselle of aespa denies rumors that she comes from a rich family

We can all agree that aespa has had a major run this year. Their mini-album “My World,” had undeniable bops and currently, their most recent EP “Drama,” has been taking over Kpop fans’ streaming platforms (and shelves). All aespa girls are truly hitmakers and successful in their own right, but were they just as big on money before their debut days?

That’s what word on the street (and the Internet) has been saying about Giselle, the Japanese member and rapper of aespa. This talented Kpop princess supposedly comes from a rich family, who has had that cash for about three generations. These speculations could probably be due to the fact that she studied at an international high school.

But Giselle has had enough of those rumors and has finally put them to rest! Recently, on the 25th episode of the “Knowing Brothers” show, the aespa member cleared up the speculations. Here’s what she had to say:

“I’ve seen the rumors, but there’s very little truth to it. Of course, it’s not a bad rumor, but I heard that my family supposedly owns a lot of golf courses. It’s not true.”

So there you have it, Giselle might not be rich because of her fam, but maybe because of her hard work!
