A few hours ago, (G)I-DLE‘s member Miyeon became a hot topic on social networks as she offered an apology to BTS‘ Jungkook for this mistake she made a year ago, making all K-Pop fans laugh by remembering this moment.
On July 18th, the idol made an appearance on the Waiting Room live with the MCs RIIZE‘s Sohee, ZEROBASEONE‘s Hanbin, and BOYNEXTDOOR‘s Jaehyun. During this fun episode, they asked the girlgroup member what was her most memorable mistake while being an MC.
Miyeon revealed an iconic story that involved BTS’ Jungkook from 2023: “When Jungkook Sunbaenim won first place“, due to the idol not being there to receive the award, she took it, but she said that “the head of the trophy was spinning round and round. I remember being so surprised“.

The embarrassment was when the head of the award fell off and everyone around her started laughing, and MONSTA X‘s Shownu even had to hold it while she was saying her last comments. Later, the BTS member made a comment about it on his Weverse account, making fun of the moment.
