G-Dragon, one of the most influential idols in the Kpop scene, is making an indirect grand announcement regarding BIGBANG. The idol personally teased the resumption of activities for the group as the former member, T.O.P, has announced his return to music.
On January 10 KST, during the 40th Golden Disc Awards, G-Dragon was honored with the Digital Song of the Year (Daesang). Despite the idol’s absence from the show, he appeared in a pre-recorded video message, which dropped a huge Kpop bomb to all the K-Netizens.
“I am honored to receive the Digital Song of the Year as my first award of the year. I will return with the BIGBANG members this year.”
This is not the first time that G-Dragon potentially teases BIGBANG’s comeback, as last year he also hinted at plans to perform in the United States with members Taeyang and Daesun. This year marks BIGBANG’s 20th anniversary, a marvelous date to make a huge comeback!
