BIGBANG’s G-Dragon has finally made his long-awaited comeback with an exciting start! The idol released his third studio album, “Übermensch,” which not only had a great critical acceptance but also commercial success.
On February 25, immediately upon its release, both the album and its songs shot to the top of music charts both within South Korea and abroad. Just a couple of days later, G-Dragon’s music agency, Galaxy Corporation, announced that the album went No. 1 in several regions across the globe.
Hanteo Chart also confirmed that “Übermensch” sold an impressive total of 639,176 copies on its first day of sales alone. This milestone marks the biggest personal sales by the idol following the first-week sales record of 46,397 in 2017 with his album, “Kwon Ji Yong.”
