On September 26, a post went viral that stated G-Dragon had liked multiple Instagram Reels featuring Donald Trump. The post included three screenshots showing evidence that G-Dragon liked them on his personal Instagram account.
Two of the three clips focus on Trump’s outside politics, including one before his political journey. The K-Netizens reacted negatively as Donald Trump’s reputation is going downhill due to his inaccurate, racist, or biased claims based on scientific facts.
The idol is currently facing a major backlash on social media, stating the idol shouldn’t stand by his political views that interfere with his musical career. While others pointed out that the posts were not necessarily about politics, and should not be treated as such.
