Five Songs off the “Kpop Demon Hunters” soundtrack have received RIAA Platinum certifications

Netflix’s “Kpop Demon Hunters” became a smash animated film not only in South Korea but worldwide. The United States became a prominent audience, which hugely received the songs of the soundtrack, even making “Golden” a No.1 hit single on the Billboard Hot 100.

On October 8 local time, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced that the “Kpop Demon Hunters” soundtrack had received a platinum certification for selling over 1 million units in the territory.

“Golden,” by HUNTR/X’s was certified double platinum for selling over 2 million units in the United States. While other HUNTR/X’s songs, such as “How It’s Done” and “What It Sounds Like,” received the platinum certification. It’s not over! Saja Boys’ “Soda Pop” and “Your Idol” all went platinum after selling over 1 million units each. Congratulations to the Kpop Demon Hunters cast and crew!
