A lot of intrigue has been generated around the new Wicked movie, and when it was known that the youth superstar Ariana Grande was going to participate, everyone was excited because she decided to stay away from the cameras to concentrate on her role and prepare herself as well as possible, not only with her acting skills and voice, but also for her physique, since she has to play a character from a very famous Broadway musical, which is very dear to the public.
Jon M. Chu is the director of the two-part movie Wicked. November 27, 2024 is when its first part is scheduled to be released in theaters, and November 26, 2025 is when its second part is scheduled to be released.
The renowned Broadway musical, which serves as a prelude to “The Wizard of Oz,” is adapted for the big screen in the two-part “Wicked” film. It narrates a different account of what happened in Oz before to Dorothy’s arrival and delves into Elphaba’s transformation into the Wicked Witch of the West while she struggles with being set up by the Wizard.
Erivo stated to Entertainment Tonight in 2022, during the making of Wicked, that the movie would be “unlike anything you’ve ever seen before.” Soon after Super Bowl LVIII kicked off, a minute-long teaser was revealed, to the delight of social media fans.
Our first real look at the film came from the trailer, which looks every bit as opulent and fanciful as we could have imagined from a film of this kind. Glinda is carried by magical bubbles, winged monsters, and a breathtaking green city in the teaser.
