The Kpop scene looks promising for 2026 as CORTIS has become the rookie boy group with the most popularity among the K-Netizens. The BigHit Music boy band is already making waves this year by earning special recognition.
On January 4, BigHit Music announced that CORTIS’s debut track, “GO!”, surpassed 100 million cumulative streams as of January 2. The idols were able to reach the mark just four months after their release and became the fastest track by a K-pop boy group that debuted in 2025 to achieve the feat.
Ultimately, CORTIS is currently the only rookie group from the 2025 debut class to hit 100 million streams with a single track. This achievement is meaningful as all five members are directly involved in the songwriting, composition, choreography, and music video production for the track.
“GO!”, keeps proving its global appeal beyond Spotify, as the song has already appeared on the Billboard Global 200 for two consecutive weeks. The promotions don’t cease here,
CORTIS is scheduled to attend the 40th Golden Disc Awards at the Taipei Dome on January 10, surely to promote their two special singles, “GO!” and “FaSHioN.”
