The renowed streaming platform Netflix is once again proving the great popularity of K-Dramas by announcing the details of a next original one that could become a hit in its service and the favorites of its users with the participation of famous actors and an interesting story.

This next production has the provisional title ‘Karma‘, which is a crime thriller based on a homonimus webtoon by Choi Hee-Sun published between 2019 and 2020 via Kakao. It is also expected to be released next year, 2024.

This Korean series will tell the story of six people who get involved in ill-fated and unexpected relationships with bad people, no matter how hard they try to get away from them. While they try to follow their own individual wishes, they continue to destroy each other.

Between them, there is a doctor, played by the famous actress Shin Min-a from ronowed dramas like ‘Our Blues’ and ‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha’, who lives with a trauma from a childhood accident, and she meets with the person who caused it.

Also, the actor Park Hae-soo, who gained worldwide recognition with his role in ‘Squid Game’, plays a man who, after witnessing an odd accident, makes a deal to keep silence, but his ambitions make him live an unexpected situation.

The main cast of this drama will also be Lee Hee-joon, Kim Sung-kyun, Lee Kwang-soo, and Gong Seung-yeon. In addition, it will be directed by Lee Il-hyung, who also wrote the script and worked on famous movies like ‘A Violent Prosecutor’ and ‘Remember’ in the past.
