K-Pop is taking over the world – and the hit charts – making it impossible to ignore. Even Beyoncé heard and liked a song. According to producer Sleep Deez, who worked with BTS‘ Jungkook on solo track “My Time,” the American pop star loved this song.
Sleep Deez talked about it on Twitter and Reddit. He tweeted that “Beyoncé loves ‘My Time’“. Later, when asked about the topic on Reddit, he said:
“You heard it bc I said it! And I’m doubling down lol. YES!“.

“My Time” came out in 2020 as part of BTS’s “Map of the Soul: 7” album. The track is geared towards R&B, which is more of Beyoncé’s universe. “My Time” even entered the Billboard Hot 100, picking up No. 84, in addition to spending 70 weeks on the World Digital Song Sales chart.
In other releated news with BTS, lately, one thing is certain about the Billboard Hot 100 – the BTS lead. Only the music varies. Last week, “Permission To Dance” replaced “Butter” at #1. This week, “Butter” returned to the top – completing eight non-consecutive weeks at the top. The BTS itself has been at the top for nine consecutive weeks.
“Permission To Dance” this week dropped from 1st to 7th. The song is a B-side of the CD single for “Butter”, it’s worth remembering. It debuted at the top due to the great physical sales movement of the CD – which only features the two tracks and their instrumental versions.
Last week, “Butter” registered 30.7 million impressions (executions x audience) on the radio, with an increase of 2%. In addition, the song hit 8.8 million streams – a 21% decrease from the previous week – and 115,600 copies (a 132% increase).
“Permission To Dance” has dropped so many steps mainly due to the decrease in sales. There was a 39% decrease in downloads, closing the last week with 85,000 copies.
