There are several horror movies that have gone down in history due to the plot and how much they manage to get you into their tapes, and every year more productions come out that make people discover new terrors that they didn’t know they had before.
Final Destination is a saga of horror movies where we are shown different protagonists who, by fate, are in risky situations that endanger their lives, but everything changes when some survive when they should not, making the whole destiny is affected. These movies have been going on for many years and it seems that they are finally reaching a conclusion.
Final Destination will have a sixth movie and it may be coming soon.
The first Final Destination movie was released in 2000, and since its release there have been 5 more installments that show a very twisted side of destiny, where people have to fight to save their lives although it is not always very successful.
It has recently been announced that the sixth movie will be released and according to Jeffrey Reddick, the creator of the series, Final Destination 6 goes further by incorporating a new rule into the series that could completely change the overall plot.
What will the sixth movie be about?
The films creator, Jeffrey Reddick, recently indicated what the new Final Destination movie would be about:
“I don’t like the idea of everyone dying at the end of the movies. It’s too cynical.” “There comes a point where it all becomes; ‘Why are we watching this if everyone’s going to die at the end?’ So I kept pushing to bring back some survivors, because I want the idea to be that you can’t cheat death (death is inevitable for all of us), but you can prolong life,” the creative continued, going on to get totally candid about the case he experienced with his mother. “And I saw it through my mother. She lived to be 97 and had cancer surgery at 87.”
Although there are no premiere dates yet, production designer Rachel O’Toole says that the pre-production is almost ready, so they just have to wait for the end of the actors’ strike to start filming and according to the release, it is expected to go straight to a Streaming platform and the name that has sounded the most is HBO Max.
