When it was announced that the new Zelda movie would have a live action, it shocked the whole world, since it was Nintendo who was behind it and we had just seen a new movie that broke records not long ago. It is Super Mario: The Movie, and if the intention of the production is similar to what we saw with Mario, the movie is sure to be a success.
Due to the lousy productions we have had to endure lately, the arrival of a new production company gives a bit of excitement and hope, so fans have not hesitated to start seeing who would be the perfect protagonists for the movie.
Currently, the possibility has surfaced that Machine Gun Belly, a well-known rapper who eventually became a singer, may play Link in the next The Legend of Zelda movie. The singer has made this known through his social networks, along with a text that read:
“If I don’t play Link we have a problem.”
A few days before the official presentation of the film, we could see images in which Machine Gun Belly himself dressed up as Link for Halloween, which made fans not see so crazy the idea of seeing Meghan Fox’s boyfriend as the new image of Link.
Machine is not the only celebrity that has been spotted by the audience to play the role, as Hunter Schafer, who is currently promoting the prequel movie to The Hunger Games, has been passed around a lot. She has even been asked in interviews about the possible role and she answered in a very cheerful way. So the chances of her playing it could be a reality.
