After enlisting in the South Korean military last year, EXO’s Kai is back in the Kpop scene. The idol has set the tone of his new album, “Wait On Me,” and it’s ready to share many of his experiences during his hiatus, including his mental health.
Kai has graced the cover of Elle Korea’s June issue in partnership with Versace’s fragrance, “Eros Energy,” for the first time. The idol looked incredible in the new pictorials and expressed how happy he was to see his fans after two years on his first solo world tour, “KAION.” In addition, the idol also reflected on his mental health over the years.
Because I’m certain that I’m doing my very best right now, it’s physically exhausting, but I’m mentally very happy and deeply satisfied. I learned a lot from my experience as a public service worker. My attitude toward people hasn’t changed, but now that I talk more about relatable everyday experiences, I think many people find me more approachable.”
