Some members of ENHYPEN see BTS as their seniors and role models due to their long career in the industry under the label HYBE, an agency they share. For this reason, they have shared unforgettable moments together such as the meeting between two of their idols.
For his part, Sunghoon, a former professional figure skater, revealed, in an episode of I-LAND, the story of how BTS inspired him to become a K-Pop idol during a concert.
“About two years ago, I started dreaming of becoming an idol“.
“I went to a BTS concert…“.
“…and I wanted to be on stage like them, and I wanted to be an amazing person like them. I think that’s when I decided on my dream“.

Now, Sunghoon made his dream come true, making it to the Top 7 of those chosen to debut in ENHYPEN. Also, he managed to meet BTS and become their agency junior.

In his interview with Weverse, Sunghoon apart from talking about his dreams and his debut, also shared a memory about an adorable meeting with BTS’ Jungkook.
“I ran into Jung Kook at the company hall once“.
“He was so nice when I greeted him, and I was so happy when he cheered me on“.
