According to SM Entertainment, the so-called evidence was nothing more than money-grabbing stuff. A netizen reportedly attempted to sell “proof” to media outlets, but when denied, decided to stir up chaos online instead. BELIFT LAB also clapped back, not just denying the claims but calling out the invasion of privacy. For fans, the blurry photos and shaky videos weren’t exactly convincing, and many dismissed the rumors as soon as they surfaced:

This isn’t Winter’s first with dating rumors, as she follows in the footsteps of her bandmate Karina, whose short-lived romance with actor Lee Jae Wook was confirmed and wrapped up in a neat five weeks. As for ENHYPEN’s Jungwon, this is the second time a member of the boy group has been involved in dating rumors, with Jay being part of a similar narrative this month.
