ENHYPEN has had a great year worldwide with the release of “DESIRE: UNLEASH,” which had critical acclaim and global success. Particularly, the idols are having a great strike in the Japanese market, marking one important achievement in their career.
On December 17, the Japanese chart, Oricon, released its “Annual Ranking 2025.” ENHYPEN placed eight on the “Singles Ranking” with their fourth single, “YOI.” This is a major milestone for the idols as they have become the highest ranking ever achieved by an international artist, and it marks the group’s personal best on the chart.
How did ENHYPEN rank so high?
“YOI” recently received the triple certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) after surpassing cumulative shipments of 750,000 copies. In addition, the idols received the ‘half-million seller’ status in their debut week after selling 500,000 copies in the territory during the first three days of release.
These figures are just the living proof of ENHYPEN’s success in the Japanese market, reflecting the idol’s expanding fan base and robust sales power in Japan. Congratulations to the idols on this major milestone!
