ENHYPEN just dropped their second studio album “Romance: Untold,” and they’re ready to spill the details on the creation process. Recently, the group had a convo with Billboard‘s Tetris Kelly to give us the juiciest facts about the behind-the-scenes of this album. Let’s dive in with Jungwon‘s initial explanation behind the album:
“First off, our lead single is titled ‘XO (Only If You Say Yes).’ Previously, our songs showcased powerful and dark sides of us, this time, we wanted to reveal more of our ‘boyfriend’ sides. The album title, this lead single gives off a very romantic vibe. That’s why the album is titled Romance: Untold. You can feel the sweetness, right?”
What’s more, this new project was the perfect way for ENHYPEN to try new things with their music! Heesung explained to Billboard that “XO” is a bop that was produced by JVKE and they fell in love with it since the first time they heard it as a demo.
“This album is something that we never really have done before. The song ‘XO’ is the perfect song to portray that. It’s really catchy too,” the ENHYPEN member said.
“Romance: Untold,” is the group’s second studio album, which comes after their 2021 debut record “DIMENSION: DILEMMA.” Their first album made waves on the Billboard 200 chart, peaking at the No. 11 position. Catch the interview here:
