Donald Trump recently gave an interview with GB News and he was not afraid of speaking his mind in regard to King Charles III’s coronation. The former president thinks the event will go smoothly but was surprised by several of the decisions that have been made such as inviting Prince Harry after all the controversies.
In addition, Trump also mentioned that he is glad Meghan Markle will not attend the event and will stay in the United States instead. According to him, the former actress was extremely rude to the late Queen Elizabeth II when she was still alive. “You cannot be disrespectful to her and I think Meghan was very disrespectful to her, very disrespectful.”
On top of that, this is not the first time Trump has openly criticized Meghan. Two years ago, the controversial figure revealed he was not a fan of the Duchess of Sussex and that Harry deserved someone better: “A lot of luck to Harry because he’s going to need it.”
According to him, Meghan is the reason why Harry distanced himself from his family and this appears to be a common sentiment among the British people. She is seen as the cause for all the controversies that have led to the break up of the royal family.
