In a interview, two native dermatologists from Korea revealed the secret about what would be the artists’ treatment to have a “perfect skin”.
According to the Koreaboo website, on a recent episode of the South Korean show “Comment Defenders,” experts Chan Woo and Jeong Seon Mi answered questions about idols and their skincare treatments. The two chose NCT member Jaehyun as an example after an internet user wanted to know if it is possible for a person to be born with perfect skin like the K-pop idol.
“Sure, you can be born with a perfect skin due to genetics, but constant care is also important,” said one of the professionals. The other agreed, adding that there are idols who don’t need as much treatment than others.
“Some people are just born that way, so some idols have very pretty skin with little treatment.

The woman continued: “On the other hand, some idols have rough skin. Even with makeup, because they are covered in acne and imperfections.” They then said that artists don’t get special treatments due to fame.
They made it clear; “We prescribe the same products that normal people use, not that there is some magic trick.”
Still, dermatologists revealed that the only thing that is different between K-pop idols and normal people is money. On average, artists go to the dermatologist twice a week.
