During a recent interview, Dayoung talks about Shiloh, Angelina Jolie‘s daughter’s, participation in her new music video, praising her abilities and talking about their bond.
In early April, the K-pop idol released her new song ‘What’s a Girl to Do’ along with its dance-filled music video, followed by a series of promotional interviews, including one with the Mail Business Newspaper (Star Today).
Amid this talk, Dayoung was asked to address the participation of Shiloh in her music video as part of her backup dancers, to which she answered that she did not; she was Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter at first when they were working in the United States.
“When we held open auditions for dancers, 700 people applied, and Shiloh was one of them. I remember her walking in wearing just a T-shirt and jeans, looking like a model for a fast fashion brand, and dancing so coolly. She came in looking simple, but she had an overwhelming aura.”
The idols continue revealing that they had a close relationship before knowing about Shiloh’s celebrity family members:
“I heard that the dance director didn’t tell me about Shiloh’s family to maintain the team atmosphere. We used to always keep in touch saying “I miss you,” but it became difficult to contact her once I found out she was Angelina Jolie’s daughter. Haha.”
