A few hours ago, a new viral video showed how Cynthia Erivo protected Ariana Grande when a fan suddenly grabbed her on the red carpet of the ‘Wicked: For Good’ premiere in Singapore.
Amid the movie press tour, the cast have been travelling to reunite with fans from all over the world to celebrate together the release of the sequel of this magical story with lovely and fun interactions. However, during the most recent premiere, they experienced a dangerous situation.
When Ariana Grande, Michelle Yeoh, and Cynthia Erivo were walking together through the carpet while waving fans with much love, one of the fans jumped the fence and ran towards the interpreter of Glinda and wrapped his arm around her while jumping for joy.

Immediately some security guards, and specifically Erivo, face the fan, putting his hands away from Grande, who seems shocked. Then the actress supports her partner, hugging her from the back while continuing their way through the carpet.
On networks, fans praise Cynthia for her concern and brave act to protect her costar and criticize the security team for their late reaction: “Cynthia Erivo was ready to fight back that fan… thanks she was there to help in time”, “Not Cynthia having faster reflexes than the security 😔, “Security had one job”, “The fact that they got each other not just on screen but also irl filled my heart 🥺🥺💖”, “The security at these events have been non existent!”.
