5 million signatures to reunite the members again.

According to Korean agency Sports Kyunghyang, CJ ENM reported on Saturday, June 19 that Iz*One is discussing ways to reunite, with most of the member agencies in favor of the group’s return. However, while discussions regarding the future of Iz*One are ongoing, nothing has been decided as of yet.

Regarding the return of Iz*One, although we are currently in discussions with member agencies and leaving a wide range of possibilities open, nothing has been decided,” said a CJ ENM spokesperson. The company also acknowledged recent efforts by Iz*One fans to raise funds for a possible reunion. ()

While expressing gratitude for the support of the fans, CJ ENM made it clear that even if Iz*One reunites again, the funds raised by fans to finance future releases of the group will not be used.

We are aware of the fundraising from the fans. We appreciate your support. However, even if Iz*One gets together again and we go ahead with producing a new album, we plan to fund it ourselves.”

Iz*One was formed in 2018 on the South Korean television reality show “Produce 48“. All 12 members were selected from auditions for the show, which is very famous in South Korea.

Despite this, no group in the “Produce” franchise renewed their contract when it expired. Despite fans’ shock, Iz*One also didn’t renew.

Iz*One’s two-year run featured EPS numbers in Korean and Japanese. In 2020, the group released their first album, “Bloom*Iz“, which was certified platinum in South Korea, and also their first Japanese album, “Twelve,” which was # 1 in Japan.
