During the Happy Sad Confunded podcast, Cillian Murphy was asked if there was a possibility of playing this legendary villain of the UCM, “It’s always about the script, so if someone would do me the favor of sending it to me, I’d be happy to read it. And you never know what could happen, that’s what I love about this business. For example, I had no idea that Christopher Nolan would call me for Oppenheimer, and you know what happened,” replied the Irish actor.
