A few months ago, the famous singer Celine Dion shared with her fans her suffering from Stiff-Person Syndrome, a revelation that left her followers worried about the health of the artist, who has paused her career to take care of herself, wishing to know more about what she is experiencing.

Stiff-Person Syndrome is a disease characterized by muscle rigidity that affects the central nervous system and is associated with muscle spasms and increased sensitivity to external stimuli that worsen contractions.

In recent days, Claudette, the singer’s older sister, spoke with the showbizz.net media, where she talked about the artist’s rare disease and what steps she is following to ensure she has a better quality of life despite her illness.

Despite this diagnosis of a rare disease and the fact that until then it had no cure, the sister declared, “I know that morally and mentally, she is so strong. Actually, she is not sad; on the contrary, she is very happy”.

In addition, she has assured that the interpreter of ‘My Heart Will Go On’ is confident that she will come out of this with her goal set in returning to her normal life: “We will get through this; I am listening to everything the professionals are telling me, and I am doing it judiciously because I want to return“.

For her part, they have also made it clear that she is “working hard to get better and listening carefully to the best investigators“, who also consider that the artist should rest and attend to the needs of her body. In addition, she denied rumors that Celine is in a wheelchair and that she suffers from cancer.

Finally, Claudette also said that the artist is receiving a lot of support and beautiful messages that are always well received. “We have been receiving some beautiful messages of love, and we do our best to make sure that they can reach her“.
