Queen consort Camilla Parker and the British royal family made headlines today for their participation in the annual Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey, the event, which was attended by King Charles III, Kate Middleton and Prince William and the new Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, was marred by bad weather in London and the presence of anti-monarchist protesters.

Faced with the bad weather, the Queen consort had to do everything possible to keep her hat in place while walking to Westminster Abbey, Kate Middleton also had trouble keeping her hat in place due to the strong wind, despite this the two royals managed to keep their hats in place.

During the event, King Charles III made a speech in which he called for the union of the family of nations and asked them to fight together to achieve a common global good.

However, not everything was perfect during the event, as anti-monarchist protesters gathered in front of the Abbey with banners that read “Not my king”, showing their discontent with the monarchy, although the protest had no impact on the event, some attendees felt uncomfortable by the presence of the protesters.

However, the British royal family has demonstrated its commitment to the Commonwealth and its role in uniting nations during this event, despite the setbacks, the Queen consort, Camilla Parker, and King Charles III maintained a dignified and elegant attitude throughout the event.
