Even in combat boots, BTS’ V is out here collecting wins! On April 19, a fellow soldier revealed V snagged the Military Police Excellence Award—and he did it while fighting through shoulder and thigh injuries. That’s right, not even pain could hold our boy back. The BTS member ranked #1 in both shooting and winter warfare training, giving super soldier energy.

His military friend gushed about how V’s perseverance pushed everyone to do better, especially during their final 3km run. Off the field, V turned into everyone’s favorite hyung (Korean for older brother) by donating workout gear, treating the squad to sushi, and motivating them.

The love didn’t stop there. His friend shared how V’s attitude made military life bearable, inspiring him to chase his dreams even after being discharged. Since enlisting in December 2023, V has racked up honors left and right—Top Trainee with RM, Special Class Warrior in March, and now Military Police Excellence Award. He’s set to return June 10, 2025, but clearly, he’s already made a big impact!
